2008 Fender 60's Jazz Bass - $700 in Brantford, Ontario for sale

Hello! I'm selling my 2007/2008 Mexican Fender Jazz Bass guitar! It is Black with a Red Tortoise pickguard. Wonderful sounding bass, can be used for a variety of genres. Very wide sound potential. I purchased this in 2009 from a local shop as I used to play in a band, and much more frequently. Unfortunately I haven't been playing as much recently, and this has been sitting in my room in its hardshell case (not included), unplayed for quite some time. It is in need of a setup, and probably new strings.

Like I said, it's been unused so its near mint. There is one little ding on the top of the body, which you can see pictured. I believe that was there when I purchased it, unfortunately. And upon looking at it today, I noticed some of the lacquer on the headstock has started to bubble. (Also seen in picture) Bass is still absolutely playable, sounds just as good as the day I tried it in the store.

I purchased this bass for around $950 back then, and upon researching it seems to be around the same price still, Fender lists it on their website with an MSRP of almost $1,100. I am asking $700 or best offer. I'd prefer text messages to my cell (613) ••• ••••, or emails are fine. I'd rather not rely on a phone call as I'm usually busy at work.
